Foyer

Inside of lobby facing floor to ceiling glass walls looking at University Boulevard. Shows terrazo floors, a seating area with four low chairs, a gorgeous pendant chandelier, and you see the open stairwell that leads to the second floor.

The new atrium is the first thing people see when they enter the building and it sets the tone. It tells the world that this is a place of excellence, a place of purpose, and a place where students, faculty, and staff come together to do meaningful work.

Beyond first impressions, the foyer space is designed to host student gatherings and special events/activities for the department and the school. The lobby includes an open staircase to the second floor that is a waiting area for patients and participants of our world-renowned clinical trials and research testing. This is now a celebrated space that will be used to help celebrate our scientific and academic achievements.
