The department is fortunate to attract top candidates from across the United States. Our residents have experienced excellent academic success during their undergraduate and medical school educations. In addition, our residents have enjoyed success outside of the academic world in music, athletics, community service, and the business world. Based on the ACGME survey, UAB Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine residents are very pleased with their residency experience.
