Student Interest Group in Anesthesiology (SIGA)
The mission of the UAB Student Interest Group in Anesthesiology (SIGA) is to create opportunities for medical students to more thoroughly investigate a career in anesthesiology. These opportunities are for students who have already identified anesthesiology as a career path, as well as those with undecided plans. The UAB Department of Anesthesiology sponsors and supports SIGA to fulfill this mission through meetings, projects, journal clubs, and workshops.
