Erica Wright is the Communications Specialist for the UAB Police and Public Safety Department. Wright streamlines communication tactics internally and externally under the Associate Vice President and Chief of Police by drafting, editing and delivering key messaging that helps maintain and strengthen the safety of students, employees and visitors to the university. She is responsible for web content creation, monitoring and digital asset production.
Wright also coordinates with UAB Media Relations, Emergency Management and various entities throughout the UAB campus to create viable messaging that builds a communicative bridge between the UAB Police and Public Safety Department and the community it serves. She holds a BA in Communications and Information Sciences in Journalism from the University of Alabama and a MA in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of West Alabama.
