A three-star rating is the highest possible score an institution can receive. The score is given based on a comprehensive evaluation, including:

- Providing thorough and high-quality follow-up reports for patients, with the goal of meeting the required one-year follow-up time frame
- Regular participation in biannual regional quality meetings
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives based on VQI data
- Engagement across multiple procedural registries

“Achieving the highest possible rating from the SVS VQI  underscores the daily commitment of our team to deliver outstanding patient care, ensure proper long-term follow-up, and maintain the highest standards of data accuracy and reporting,” says CVI Director of Quality and Associate Chief Medical Quality Officer Adam Beck, M.D. “Courtney Busby, BSN, RN, has been essential to this success, ensuring that thousands of patient records are entered and maintained, among many other responsibilities she carries related to quality in our division.”
