In just a little over a week, the UAB Department of Surgery will travel to Orlando, Florida for the 21st Annual Academic Surgical Congress.

Spanning from Tuesday, February 3 - Thursday, February 5, 2026, the Congress serves as a time for our faculty and trainees to present their research, cheer on their peers and colleagues, and connect at our annual UAB Department of Surgery reception.

This year, the Department of Surgery will host its annual gathering for faculty, trainees, and friends of the department on Tuesday, February 3. For those who have not registered, we encourage you to learn more and submit your attendance information here.
