Construction operations will impact 16th Street South beginning Thursday, Dec. 11, specifically affecting the segment from 7th Avenue South to the entrance to the Children's of Alabama parking deck.

While the southern portion of the street remains closed, this new paving work is scheduled to continue through the weekend with active lane restrictions occurring Saturday, Dec. 13. Access to the parking deck will remain open and flagmen will be present to direct traffic flow in and out of the facility.
