Who is required to take this course?

All undergraduate students who are new to UAB and enrolled for Fall 2026 are required to complete Sexual Assault Prevention Training, regardless of classification (first‑year, sophomore, junior, or senior). This includes students who first enrolled at UAB during Summer 2026.

I am a transfer student. Do I need to complete the training?

Yes. Transfer students who are new to UAB and enrolled for Fall 2026 are required to complete the training, even if they completed similar training at a previous institution. This includes students who first enrolled at UAB during Summer 2026.

Instructions

To begin the course:

  1. You will receive a Canvas announcement that the course is open.
  2. Login using your UAB username and password.
  3. In Training Module One, click “Start Here.”
  4. Work at your own pace, and Canvas will save progress for completion later.
