Community Practice Pathology Program

The Community Practice Pathology Program (CPPP) was established in 2013 to partner with community hospitals in Alabama to provide a high level of local pathology service. The CPPP provides both anatomic and clinical pathology services at the local level to affiliated hospitals with support from subspecialty experts based at the main UAB campus.

The CPPP currently has 11 full-time faculty members and operates as part of the UAB Department of Pathology Outreach Program.
