The UAB Department of Pediatrics welcomed one new faculty member in the month of May. Please join us in making them feel at home! 

Angela Cope, D.O., assistant professor in the Division of Academic General Pediatrics, earned her medical degree from the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. Dr. Cope completed her residency in general pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Prior to joining UAB, she has worked as a community pediatrician in Birmingham, AL. Her clinical interests include: outpatient pediatrics and resident education.
