SWRC New Members 2025 2 WEB 600x225Christina Croney, Karimu Morgan, Jalisa Lankford and Ebony Williams The UAB Department of Pediatrics Staff Wellness and Recognition Council has added Christina Croney, Karimu Morgan, Jalisa Lankford and Ebony Williams as new members in 2025.

Christina Croney - Clinical Research Coordinator in the Institute for Cancer Outcomes and Survivorship

Croney has worked within the Department of Pediatrics for approximately six years, primarily within the Institute for Cancer Outcomes and Survivorship. “I am thrilled to join the UAB Pediatrics Staff Wellness and Recognition Council because I want to help staff feel heard and valued for their hard work,” said Croney. “I would also like to cultivate a departmental culture that truly supports mental wellness and ensures resources are available to promote overall well-being.”

Karimu Morgan - Clinical Financial Coordinator at UAB Civitan Sparks

Morgan has been with the Department of Pediatrics for 18 1/2 years, primarily working in the Pediatrics Billing Department.

“I’m excited to join the Department of Pediatric Staff Wellness, said Morgan” “In my new role, I look forward to working alongside a dedicated talented group of colleagues to foster a positive, healthy work environment for all staff members.

Jalisa Lankford - Administrative Supervisor in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology

Lankford has been with UAB for 10 years and have served as an administrative supervisor in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology for the last two and a half years.

It is a privilege to be a part of the Staff Wellness and Recognition Council,” said Lankford. “I am all for health and wellness, not only our Endocrine patients, but the staff as well.”

Ebony Williams - Program Manager in the Institute for Cancer Outcomes and Survivorship

Williams has been in the Department of Pediatrics for two years, but has been with UAB since 2016.

“I am so excited to be a part of the Staff Wellness & Recognition Council,” said Williams. “I'm happy to be a part of events and programs that support our staff's mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.”
