Sarah Novara, M.D., associate professor in the Division of Pediatric Neurology, has been named a Fellow of the Child Neurology Society (FCNS).

A FCNS is a prestigious designation within the Child Neurology Society that recognizes the members’ commitment to advancing knowledge and clinical practice in child neurology.

Novara has been selected for her exceptional skills and contributions to child neurology through her work at UAB and Children’s of Alabama and her dedication to training the next generation of child neurologists.

“It is both a special honor and a true blessing to be recognized in this way by our national society this year, and I look forward to serving and collaborating with leaders within CNS for many years to come,” said Novara.
