The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) was founded by Royal Charter in 1784 as a way to set and support professional standards for surgical training and practice in Ireland. Affiliated with several teaching hospitals, including Beaumont Hospital and Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, RCSI is dedicated to providing students with an opportunity to experience direct patient care while working alongside care teams across numerous departments, including but not limited to ENT, Infectious Diseases, Ophthalmology, and General Surgery.
