Patient Care Connect Program Earns Innovator Award
Patient Care Connect Program Medical Director Gabrielle Rocque, MDThe Association of Community Cancer Centers recently recognized UAB’s Patient Care Connect Program with its prestigious Innovator Award for its “forward-thinking” approach to improve access and quality of care. Patient Care Connect is a lay navigation program directed by Gabrielle Rocque, MD (Assistant Professor, Hematology and Oncology). The program’s results have been impressive, both in cost savings and patient satisfaction.
