As a University-Wide Interdisciplinary Research Center (UWIRC), the UCDC is made up of more than 200 faculty members from 10 different schools and many departments across UAB.
UCDC members benefit from the center’s vibrant and collaborative diabetes community, extensive enrichment program, and a variety of internal funding opportunities and awards.
