UAB’s 2025 Homecoming Button Design Competition

Show your Blazer pride by creating an original design using the theme: "Blazers in the Spotlight" to be featured on this year's Homecoming button!

1. Only current UAB students can participate.
2. Designs must incorporate the 2025 theme, "Blazers in the Spotlight".
3. Designs must be submitted between August 18th at 8 AM – August 25th at 11:59 PM.
4. Designs must have “UAB” with the registered mark incorporated within the design.
5. All designs must be submitted in .pdf, .eps, or .svg format.
6. Designs must be able to fit on a 3” round button.
7. Students may submit up to three designs but must submit a separate form for each design.
8. All designs are subject to approval by the Student Affairs Marketing & Communications Office and University Marketing and Communications before being approved for Top 3 voting.
9. The Blazer Spirit Council will select the top 3 designs for the student body vote. Voting will open on September 2nd at 9 AM and end on September 4th at 11:59 PM. The winner will be announced on September 5th.
10. Any UAB students who submit a design must be available to make revisions if needed to ensure the design aligns with UAB Branding standards.
11. Be mindful that designs should be original and not replicate any copyrighted work.
