The Governance and Operations Committee is responsible for continuous review of the senate’s organization and procedures and for recommending changes it deems desirable in either the constitution or the bylaws.

The 2024-2025 Chair is Michael Herr II, Associate Professor, Joint Health Sciences, Department of Cell, Development and Integrative Biology. The 2024-2025 Vice-Chair is Kelly Hill, Associate Professor, School of Education, Department of Curriculum Instruction.
