    Customized fixed and removable appliances, including palatal expanders, space maintainers, and temporary anchorage devices (TADs).

We treat orthodontic issues ranging from simple cosmetic touch-ups to highly complex structural cases. We accept direct self-referrals from patients, as well as medical referrals from general dentists, pediatric dentists, and oral surgeons across Alabama.

Your First Visit

  • Your initial appointment is a straightforward, no-pressure screening consultation.

    1. The Evaluation: An orthodontic resident and supervising faculty member will examine your teeth, jaw alignment, and treatment readiness.
    2. The Discussion: We will discuss your treatment options, estimated timeline, and financial estimates.
    3. Diagnostic Records: If you are ready to move forward, we will take digital X-rays, clinical photos, and 3D digital impressions of your teeth to build your custom treatment plan.

  • To help your registration go smoothly, please bring the following items unique to our clinic:

    • A government-issued photo ID (driver's license or passport)
    • Your dental insurance card (if applicable)
    • A list of any current medications and medical history conditions
    • Any recent dental X-rays taken by your general dentist within the last 6 months
    • Note on Billing: Unlike general student clinics, the Orthodontics Clinic features dedicated specialty insurance coordinators to maximize your benefits and set up flexible monthly payment structures.
