The CCTS extends its deep appreciation to Frannie Horn, JD, EdS, MA, and Robert P. Kimberly, MD, for more than a decade of visionary service to SHARe.The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) Partner Network extends its sincere appreciation to Frannie Horn, JD, EdS, MA, former SHARe Administrative Director and Hub Liaison Team Operations Lead, and to Robert P. Kimberly, MD, former Chair and Medical Director of the SHARe Advisory Board, for more than a decade of visionary leadership.

SHARe, the Southeast Health Alliance for Research, is a CCTS Partner Network initiative spanning 14 institutions across the Deep South. It is designed to accelerate multisite clinical trials and foster collaborative research. Under new leadership from Christina Cenczyk, MSCJ, SHARe Administrative Director and Hub Liaison Team (HLT) Operations Lead, Eva Lustigova, MPH, HLT Co-Lead, and Vivian A. Fonseca, MD, FRCP, the new Chair and Medical Director of the SHARe Advisory Board, the initiative will continue advancing its mission in close coordination with the multi-institution SHARe Advisory Committee.

SHARe’s work centers around three areas of focus: extending the reach of multisite clinical trials, sharpening best practices to enhance research coordination and performance, and leveraging regional strengths and national networks to support high-impact, collaborative initiatives. Visit go.uab.edu/share to learn more about SHARe and how to get involved.
