  • "AI in Action: Navigating Ethics and Opportunities in Healthcare and Public Health Practices"

    Wednesday, February 19, 2025
    In-person, Opelika, AL

Thank you for a wonderful discussion! We will see you next year.

Francesca Weaks2025 Bioethics Forum keynote speaker,
    Francesca G. Weaks, DrPH MCHES
Join us for the 10th Annual CCTS Bioethics Forum where we delve into the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in contemporary healthcare and public health practices. Building on last year's exploration of AI in translational healthcare research, this year’s discussion will focus on the practical applications of AI technologies currently implemented in medicine and public health. We aim to highlight the positive impacts of AI systems used in healthcare and public health while addressing key ethical concerns, such as data privacy and security, accountability, explainability, and fair AI assurance.

Together, we will foster a dialogue on how to maximize the benefits of these innovations while proactively mitigating potential risks. Attendees will gain insights into the current landscape of healthcare and public health AI uses, our challenges, and collaborative strategies for creating a safer AI-driven future for all stakeholders.

    Event Location:
Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National
    3700 Robert Trent Jones Trail
    Opelika, AL 36801
