The Center for Clinical and Translational Science is thrilled to announce 2025 Pilot Projects. Selected through a rigorous competitive process, projects represent a variety of disciplines from across the CCTS Partner Network. Each project is systematically addressing barriers in translational science to accelerate the journey from research discoveries to improved human health and healthcare delivery. This year’s projects seek to develop solutions to translational challenges like sample integrity, incorporation of affected individuals in the design of health programs, clinical interventions and guidance, and scalable models to inform care delivery. The leaders behind this year’s work include:
- Drs. Olayemi Adekeye and Mercy Mumba, University of Alabama
- Dr. Kimberly Garza, Auburn University
- Dr. Bingjing Mao, LSUHSC NO
- Dr. Caroline Richter, UAB
- Dr. Emma Sartin, UAB
- Dr. Allyson Shea, University of South Alabama
- Drs. Michael Stellefson and Yuhui Yao, University of Alabama
- Dr. Paul Thomes, Auburn University
The CCTS is grateful to be part of supporting your work. Congratulations!
