Davida Hill
Since joining UAB in 2012 as a Certified Medical Assistant in Orthopaedic Surgery, Davida Hill has built a career rooted in compassion and care.
Her role has deepened her knowledge in patient care, wound management, and bone and joint health, making a difference in her patients’ lives daily.
Her commitment to care doesn’t end at the clinic door. A faithful supporter of the UAB Benevolent Fund since her first day at UAB, Davida believes giving is not just generous but deeply personal.
“Benevolence is a biblical principle instilled in me since childhood,” she said. “I give because it’s an act of kindness toward people who may be experiencing hardships or less fortunate.”
For Davida, payroll deductions are an effortless way to give consistently, and she’s proud to support a fund that uplifts fellow UAB employees and the community in times of need.
“I think the Benevolent Fund is wonderful and does amazing work,” she said.
