The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) will host its 13th Annual Veterans Day Wreath Laying Ceremony to honor military service members and veterans.

The free event, presented by UAB Student Affairs and Veterans Services, will take place at 12 p.m. in Ballrooms C and D of the Hill Student Center. The ceremony will include remarks from a special guest speaker and the traditional saluting of the wreath by a UAB student veteran.

The university encourages students, faculty, staff and community members to attend and recognize those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
