Student Engagement & Enrichment at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in cvonjuctions with Student Media, has released episode one of Study Break, a new student-success–driven podcast designed to support, encourage, and empower Blazers in their academic and personal journeys.

Hosted by SEE Undergraduate Assistant Olivia Scarbrough and SEE staff member Mandy Hunt, Study Break features real conversations centered on student life wins, stress-busting strategies, finding your fit on campus, mentorship, and building the best possible UAB experience.

In the debut episode, Mandy and Olivia welcome UAB undergraduate students and Blazer Mentorship Collective mentors Bryan Preer and Amiya Ivy for an engaging discussion on exam preparation, effective study habits, and “library group red flags.” The episode offers practical tips, relatable experiences, and encouragement just in time for midterm season.

Study Break is available now on YouTube and will continue to spotlight student voices, campus resources, and success strategies throughout the academic year.
