National Hazing Prevention Week (NHPW) is a time when communities, institutions, organizations, and individuals come together to raise awareness and increase education about hazing.
Here’s how you can get involved in UAB’s NHPW:
Monday, September 22
5 pm - 6 pm | Student Assembly Building, 115
Kick off the week with this event and listen to “Sweating the Small Stuff” with Lorin Phillips.
Tuesday, September 23
10 am - 2 pm | Hill Student Center, Suite 230
Grab a donut at the Hill and sign Fraternity and Sorority Life’s petition to end hazing.
Wednesday, September 24
5 pm - 6 pm | Student Assembly Building, 115
Get your friends together and join us for trivia on statistics and facts about hazing.
Thursday, September 25
5 pm - 6 pm | Student Assembly Building, 115
Join us to view a documentary about hazing, followed by a community discussion.
