On Dec. 3, UAB Student Affairs and Campus Dining hosted a Late Night Breakfast which drew 685 students to The Commons on the Green for a late-night meal and study break, just ahead of finals.
Held from 10 p.m. into midnight, the event featured breakfast classics, an upbeat atmosphere and music from a live DJ. Students took advantage of meal swipes, Dragon Cash, Blazer Bucks, Dining Dollars or credit to enjoy pancakes, eggs, sausage and other comfort food — the kind of comforts many needed in a busy exam period.
The turnout underscored the strong sense of community at UAB. By bridging a late-night meal with a relaxing social space, Late Night Breakfast provided more than just food — it offered a chance for peers to connect, unwind, and support one another heading into final exams.
UAB Student Affairs will continue to host similar events throughout the academic year to encourage student engagement and provide supportive, campus-based experiences during stressful periods.
