Leaking When You Laugh Isn't Something You Just Have to Live With

UAB Urogynecology is partnering with Eli Lilly to evaluate an investigational oral GLP-1 medication, Orforglipron, for weight reduction. Research has shown that weight loss may significantly improve urinary leakage associated with Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI), which is the involuntary leakage of urine during activities such as laughing, coughing, sneezing, exercising, or lifting heavy objects.

You may qualify if you:

• Were assigned female at birth
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Overweight
• Experience daily urinary leakage

Qualified participants receive:

• Study-related care at no cost
• Possible access to an FDA approved oral GLP-1, Orforglipron
• Compensation for time and participation
