Assistant Professor earns The Science Unbound Foundation Best Paper Award

rajuUniversity of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing Assistant Professor Dheeraj Raju, PhD, has been named the winner of the Science Unbound Foundation’s award for Best Paper by a UAB-based investigator in the area of general statistics. His paper entitled “Exploring factors associated with pressure ulcers: A data mining approach”was published in the January 2015 issue of The International Journal of Nursing Studies.

Raju was awarded a $1,000 prize and plaque commemorating his success. The Science Unbound Foundation, a not-for-profit foundation, furthers scientific knowledge in the service of health, happiness and quality of life of humankind through scientific research and education.
