Hyeyoung Lim, Ph.D.The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Hyeyoung Lim, Ph.D., has received the Outstanding Contribution award from the Cybercrime, Terrorism and Security Studies section of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.
“Being recognized for the work I have done is always an honor and something I am truly grateful for,” Lim said. “Service activities offer a great opportunity to build professional networks, and knowing that many people see my contributions as meaningful and valuable makes me feel proud and fulfilled.”
Lim is a professor in the J. Frank Barefield, Jr. Department of Criminal Justice and hopes to contribute meaningfully to the fields of crime prevention and public safety research.
The Outstanding Contribution award recognizes individuals who have made impactful contributions as mentors and leaders in the crime and prevention section and was presented during the section business meeting at the ACJS annual meeting in Denver, Colorado.
