The winter holiday season can be especially challenging for those balancing the responsibilities of school and parenthood. To support these students, the University of Alabama at Birmingham formed Little Blazer Wishes, an annual drive that provides gifts and support to UAB students with children during the holidays. Any parenting student can receive the support.

To get ahead of the season, Holiday in July helps to ensure the Little Blazer Wishes program is ready to serve every family in need. As the program approaches another year, the goal is to continue supporting even more UAB parenting students with items like clothing, books, necessities and gifts. Give now to guarantee gifts under the tree for families in need.

Launched in 2018, the Little Blazer Wishes program is coordinated through UAB Student Affairs’ Student and Family Engagement. With the support of generous donors, UAB Student Affairs has helped bring the holidays home for more than 1,000 children of UAB students.
