A “Night of the Arts” Gala with Wilson PhillipsNew performances are set for the Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Tickets are on sale now. Explore the full upcoming 2025-2026 season and buy tickets at AlysStephens.org. More artists are being added to the schedule. Follow the Alys Stephens Center on Facebook and Instagram for updates and announcements.

Discounted tickets for UAB students, staff and faculty are available for most performances; supplies are limited. Visit the Alys Stephens Center Box Office at 1200 10th Ave. South, Birmingham, or call 205-975-2787.

Returning this season is the Pay What You Choose series, which offers entertainment for any budget and allows patrons to decide how much they would like to pay for the performance. The suggested ticket price is $15 for adults and $10 for children. Simply select the amount that works best for your budget when reserving tickets — no questions asked. 

Friday, Sept. 5

A “Night of the Arts” Gala with Wilson Phillips, 5:30 p.m. An immersive celebration of the arts that raises vital funds for the Alys Stephens Center and UAB’s Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts, ArtPlay Community Education and Arts in Medicine. Showcasing the best of each organization’s programming, the night will culminate with a private concert by pop vocal group Wilson Phillips. Tickets include valet parking, pre-show arts experiences, complimentary beverages and hors d’oeuvres, premium A-level tickets to the concert, and access to the after party. Sponsorship and VIP tickets are available and include dinner by Helen Restaurant on the Sirote Theatre stage, where guests will have the opportunity to meet and have their photo taken with the members of Wilson Phillips. Country-soul artist Drake White, 7 p.m. This inspiring artist from Alabama will light up the stage with heartfelt melodies and dynamic storytelling, showcasing his journey and musical evolution. Come early for a country DJ and drinks in the Grand Lobby. Tickets from $29. Buy tickets.

Triple threat Sutton Foster, 7 p.m. A Tony Award-winning Broadway powerhouse, Endea Owens and The CookoutFoster is a dazzling talent who captivates audiences with her magnetic stage presence and infectious energy. Beyond the stage, she is a beloved television star and an accomplished recording artist. Come early to see students from the UAB Department of Theatre and ArtPlay perform in the lobby before the show. Endea Owens and The Cookout, UAB Arts Block Party, 8 p.m. Come ready to dance as Endea Owens and The Cookout headline an unforgettable night of music, community and celebration. Sugar Skull!” 4 p.m. Using traditional Mexican music and dance, this bilingual, bicultural musical production tells the story of the magical journey of Vita Flores, to understand the meaning of Día de Muertos.
