Benedicto Fernandes, M.D., FAAP, assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care

Benedicto Fernandes, M.D., FAAP, assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care. He earned his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, FL. Dr. Fernandes completed his pediatric residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, IL. He completed his Pediatric ICU fellowship at Monroe Carell Jr Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN. Dr. Fernandes completed his Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH. His interests include clinical, and research focus in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care, Medical Education, Simulation and Curriculum development.
