Interests
Dr. Rutledge serves as the Vice Chair of Access & Engagement for the Department of Pediatrics, as well as the Associate Program Director of the UAB Pediatric Residency Program. She also holds simulation leadership roles, including Medical Co-Director of the Pediatric Simulation Center at Children’s of Alabama and Program Director of the Children’s of Alabama Community Healthcare Education Simulation (COACHES) Program. Her non-clinical activities focus on improving equitable healthcare for the children of Alabama through simulation education, access and engagement initiatives, and community outreach.
