Potyra Regis Rosa, M.D., M.S., is a neuro-ophthalmologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the connection between the eyes, brain, and nervous system. She has extensive training in the diagnosis and management of complex neuro-ophthalmic conditions, including optic nerve disorders, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, binocular diplopia, and visual disturbances related to neurological disease.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Rosa has an extensive research background, contributing to numerous clinical trials and scientific publications involving neuro-ophthalmology, inherited retinal diseases and gene therapy. She has presented her work nationally and internationally and remains committed to advancing the understanding and treatment of vision disorders.
Rosa is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
