Matthew Parr, M.D., was born and raised in Freehold, New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and earned his medical degree from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Parr treats patients with spinal stenosis, spinal cord and spinal column tumors, and spine stabilization and fusion. He also has a special interest in spinal trauma. Clinic appointments with Dr. Parr are available at the Neurosurgery Clinic at UAB Medicine St. Vincent's.
