Biography
Dr. Lin Jin received her Bachelor degree in Clinical Medicine and Master of Science at Lanzhou University in Lanzhou, China. She finished her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in 2009 at Jinan University in Guangzhou, China. She completed her fellowship in cancer biology at Vanderbilt in Tennessee in 2012 and another fellowship in cancer biology at University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013. She then joined UAB's Department of Dermatology as a researcher and became an Assistant Professor in 2021. She is interested in skin development and repair, stem cell therapy for skin regeneration, chronic inflammatory skin disease, and basal and squamous cell skin cancers.
