Partnerships & Engagement Liaison

Kinya Isaac is a passionate health education advocate and community leader from Forkland, Alabama, a small town in the heart of the Black Belt, who serves as Live HealthSmart Alabama's Partnerships & Engagement Liaison in Demopolis, AL.

With over 13 years of experience in medical office administration, nonprofit leadership,kinya headshot and community outreach, she is deeply committed to improving health equity in rural and underserved communities across Alabama.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Faulkner University, with a focus on legal disparities in rural areas. She also holds certifications as a Certified Municipal Clerk and a Certified Municipal Revenue Officer from the University of Alabama.

Throughout her career, Kinya has worked at the intersection of healthcare, education, and public service. She has led major community health initiatives—including coordinating the “Shot on the Spot” vaccination campaign across 17 Black Belt counties—and served as an Educational Liaison for a diabetes reversal program in Greene County. Her background also includes seven years as Office Manager at the Demopolis Cancer Center, where she supported both patients and providers through efficient, compassionate care coordination.

Additionally, she worked as a Partnership Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce for the 2020 Census, helping to ensure an accurate population count in hard-to-reach rural areas through stakeholder engagement and trust-building initiatives.

Now, as a Partnerships & Engagement Liaison in Demopolis, AL for Live HealthSmart Alabama, Kinya continues to bridge the gap between health systems and the communities they serve—developing and delivering outreach programs that are accessible, relevant, and impactful.
