Biotechnology Marketing & Program Assistant
Kamdi Akwuba is a sophomore double majoring in Accounting and Finance and minoring in Psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She currently serves as a Biotechnology Marketing & Program Assistant for the Bill L. Harbert Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (HIIE), supporting the marketing and management of antibody products that advance scientific discovery and innovation.
At UAB, Kamdi also works as a Program Coordinator in the Collat School of Business' Professional Education Department, where she helps empower professionals with the skills to innovate in business through course operations, event coordination, and content creation. She brings additional experience in legal processes, analytical research, and applying data-driven insights from her previous internships.
Kamdi is extremely passionate about advancing science and innovation while helping people in countless ways. Outside of school, she tutors K-12 students and coaches gymnastics. In her free time, Kamdi enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new experiences.
