About the Program

Implementation science has emerged as a dedicated field designed to bridge the gap between research and practice. Students are trained in identifying and developing ways to improve the uptake, delivery, dissemination, and sustainability of evidence-based interventions in health care delivery and community settings.

This certificate program covers fundamental topics such as terminology, conceptual models, frameworks, and study designs. Students will also gain an overview of advanced topics, including implementation strategies and sustainability and in the capstone course, will focus on grant writing and skill development. Upon completion, students will be able to identify major research, practice, and policy factors and processes involved in dissemination and implementation science.
