Board Member

Berkan Ciger serves as the Corporate Work Study Director at Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, he oversees program operations, student and supervisor training and support, and corporate partnership development, generating revenue to sustain school operations and advance the school’s mission. Through his work, Berkan helps provide students with meaningful professional experiences, develop vital skills, build impactful networks, and realize their academic and career potential.

Berkan earned a B.S. in Secondary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014 and an MPA with Phi Alpha Alpha honors in 2023. For this proud Birmingham native, UAB is a family tradition, with his father, brother, uncle, and cousin also part of the Blazer family. Berkan is excited to give back by serving on the MPA Alumni Board and staying connected to the university that has played such an important role in his personal and professional journey.
