Kempin Reuter is a Senior Faculty Associate and Senior Researcher at the Center for Research on Collaboratories and Technology Enhanced Learning Communities (COTELCO) at American University and Syracuse University. She was a Visiting Research Scholar and Fellow at the Solomon Asch Center for Study of Ethnopolitical Conflict at the University of Pennsylvania, a Research Fellow and Instructor at the University of Zurich Law School, and a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Center for Security Studies and Conflict Research at the Swiss Federal Institute for Technology. Kempin Reuter received her Ph.D. in International Relations and International Law from the University of Zurich in 2006, graduating magna cum laude. She received her M.A. in contemporary history, economic policy and international law from the University of Zurich in 2002.
She is a native of Switzerland and is a member of the American Society for International Law, the European Society for International Law, the American Political Science Association, the International Studies Association and the Hampton Roads World Affairs Council.
