UABTeach—Recruiting a New Generation of STEM Teachers
UABTeach Dragon says “I teach. What’s your superpower?” Do you want to be part of something amazing? With UABTeach, you can earn a STEM degree and become a teacher in just four years.
UABTeach lets undergraduate students majoring in math or science receive both their subject matter degree and full teaching certification in four years at no extra time or cost. Engineering students can earn their degree and certificate in as few as 9 semesters. That means you’ll have more career options after graduation — you’ll be able to go directly into teaching, a STEM profession, or graduate school. And computer science students will be able to join the program soon.
