Students and the community are invited to cheer on new theater students at the fifth annual Freshman Showcase, presented by the University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Theatre.
More than 20 burgeoning singers, actors, musicians, and production and technical students will take to the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, in the Odess Theatre in UAB’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center, 1200 10th Ave. South. The informal showcase is free and open to the public. The department will host a casual meet-and-greet after the show.
