Yana Osovska is a senior majoring in Economics and minoring in International Business at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is also a part of the Collat Business Honors Program and plans to graduate in the Sprint of 2026. Yana is an immigrant and came to the US from Ukraine at the age of 9. She is passionate about economics and human rights and hopes to shine light on today's worldly economic issues through their impact on people's lives. She hopes to make human rights a more prevalent topic when discussing economic issues and bring the two topics together by writing about them.
