Italy Wilson is a senior at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, majoring in Biomedical Sciences on the pre-med track. She is interested in the intersections of human rights, health disparities, and systemic inequality. She is excited to join the Institute for Human Rights as an intern, where she looks forward to contributing to projects that elevate marginalized voices and developing skills in advocacy, writing, and engagement.
