Alabama Interfaith Refugee Partnership

Shreya Sunil is a junior at UAB majoring in Cancer Biology, while also pursuing a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Organization. She aspires to become a physician and is passionate about using both medicine and public health to advance health equity and support marginalized communities through community based initiatives. Her dedication to public health is driven by a commitment to better understand the challenges people face and to work toward reforming the systems and policies that shape human rights. She hopes to contribute to a future where healthcare and social systems are more inclusive, humane, and responsive to the needs of all communities.
