Shreya is a junior at UAB majoring in Genetics and Genomic Sciences with a minor in Legal Affairs. With a focus on community service, Shreya has pursued multiple avenues to address economic and healthcare disparities in the Birmingham community through her role as President of Students Providing Aid, tutor for the Birmingham City Schools system, and various volunteering roles. Driven by a passion for advocacy and justice, she aims to lead others in legal and healthcare fields through empathy and efficiency. Shreya plans to pursue a career at the intersection of law and medicine, with the goal of shaping policy that promotes equitable healthcare access.

She is originally from Nashville, Tennessee. In her free time, you can find her reading, traveling, spending quality time with friends and felines, and proudly repping her culture with her dance team.
