Lakeshore Foundation

McCartney is a senior at UAB majoring in medical sociology and minoring in human rights. She is an alumni of the Leadership Excellence in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) training program and sits on the Arc’s Transforming Healthcare Advisory Board. She is passionate about disability rights and is very thrilled to be volunteering at the Lakeshore foundation this year.
