I am a PhD student in the Morris Lab, where my research investigates the intercellular communication of marine heterotrophic bacteria, with a particular focus on Vibrio Species. My work explores how bacteria employ extracellular vesicles to mediate quorum sensing, a mechanism used to coordinate group behaviors and interactions within and across species. By understanding vesicle-facilitated signaling, my research aims to reveal new insights into microbial community dynamics in marine environments and investigate the broader implications for host-microbe and microbe-microbe communication.
