I am a graduate of Pepperdine University where I studied philosophy and history. After taking the required scientific prerequisites, I enrolled as a graduate student in the Watts lab studying nutrition utilizing zebrafish, sea urchin, and shrimp models.

I graduated with my masters in 2023 and I am now co-mentored by both Anna Thalacker-Mercer and Stephen Watts for my work studying the intersection of muscular aging and nutrition with the zebrafish model. My interests include nutrition’s role in wound healing and regeneration, sustainable nutrition, and the microbiome's role in aging.
